100+ MM users downloading six
different apps
AXL Seguros currently has more than six apps, one for each service (Apple Store and Google Play). For many reasons, it's common for insurance companies to develop their products in several different apps. Can you imagine?
The inconvenience for the policyholder needing to download the apps for all these products?
The struggle they will have to understand what each one offers and how to use their insurance?
The space it takes up on their cell phone?
Insurance is a complex thing, but we understand that facilitating all the processes between users and insurance is something that can be done with UX/UI methods and processes, questioning and understanding the problem.

Por que esse app precisa existir?
O principal objetivo aqui é entregar um app que facilite a vida dos usuários, que esteja presente nos momentos bons e ruins, e que entregue valor imediato quando o usuário precisar de ajuda.
Na primeira reunião com o stakeholder, ele forneceu as seguintes informações sobre o produto:
Definição do problema

Qual é o problema principal?
A empresa tem seis aplicativos, um para cada produto oferecido, então ter que baixar um app para cada serviço é um problema.

Quais são os problemas subjacentes?
• Não existe um app unificado;
• Os users não tem uma solução que facilite sua vida;
• Os users acham confuso entender como funciona;
• Eles não sabem como alterar o serviço que contrataram;
• Difícil de usar;
• Informações descentralizadas.

Como esse problema surge?
Na fricção causada pela experiência não inteligente, são apps diferentes para coisas diferentes, sem aproveitamento do tempo do usuário e eficiência na realização das tarefas.

Para quem é um problema?
Para a empresa, que perde market share para seus competidores diretos, e para os usuários, que são obrigados a fazer download de mais de um aplicativo caso contratem mais de um produto da seguradora.

Pesquisa ampla realizada em fontes confiáveis diversas como o site da seguradora, SUSEP, CNSeg, Reclame Aqui, reviews do Google Play, Fenacor, Oxford e Sincor-SP.
Descobrir quem é o cliente e o que ele vende, onde o cliente está, como ele vende, quem faz a mesma coisa, o que os usuários querem, aspectos psicológicos, como está o mercado de seguros no Brasil e quais as dificuldades dos apps de seguros hoje foram perguntas fundamentais nessa fase.

A perfect insurance app means a user experience where you can achieve your goal with the features offered. I separate it into two parts:
What the app offers: with icons explaining the main tasks.
Get the value: rewards and benefits.
The list for this was gathered together with other factors that contribute to users' choices, in an affinity map.

Thinking about the experience
There is a lot of investment in the development of digital products in highly competitive markets and in the acquisition and retention of new users, who we really don't want to lose after their first experience. Products that are easy to use generate more money .
Furthermore, it was important to think about an easy personal experience, with reduced cognitive load, since using an insurance app itself requires a lot of attention.
Therefore, I analyzed five crucial points of Nielsen's Heuristics to deliver a planned app.
Status visibility;
Control and freedom;
Consistency and standardization;
Efficiency of use;
Error recognition and recovery.
